No, I haven't left my hubby. Actually, it's the opposite my hubby is taking me to see this man. But let's all blame it on him, anyways...
Yes, it's true we are pregnant again. I guess this is my unofficial announcement. Even though many of you already know. I thought I was doing really well and then all of a sudden the horrible morning/all day sickness attacked and I was glued to the toilet again. A little background on me: with my daughter, Leia I went on bed rest at 8 weeks pregnant. A short time later I was let go from my job since it was a small company and they could not 'hold' my job. Luckily it gave me the chance to be a full time mommy which has been great for the last 4+ years and allowed me to do Scrapbooking Retreats full time. That pregnancy was rough to say the least especially losing almost 40 lbs and not being able to keep water down at times due to being so sick.
Well, hubby and I were getting really scared that this was going to happen again. For the last 2 weeks I have barely left my bedroom much less the house. So after my outing to the ER my hubby and I decided that we would try anything not to have a repeat of the pregnancy with our daughter. That's when acupuncture was recommended to us... now I have to start out with saying this seems like the oddest thing someone can choose to do. Even to this day I get nervous and lightheaded when I am going to get blood drawn or anything to do with
needles. But here I am with needles yes, needles in my head and I felt relaxed while it was all being done. I now have completed 4 sessions and I am starting to feel better. I took Leia to school and picked her 1 day so far this week which would have been unheard of a week ago. All I can say is Thank You Thank You! So now that I am finally on my computer again and not tied to the toilet, I am playing run around and catch up for this month's retreat. I am looking forward to having the itinerary out tomorrow and finalizing everything else by the end of the week. I am not 100% better but I am planning to be! Man, where was he when I was pregnant? I feel your pain. I was sick for the last 8 months of each pregnancy...still throwing up on the way to the hospital to have them (and like you, hospitalized once from dehydration). My thoughts and prayers that it continues to make you feel better.
