My name is Kristin, but I am called Kris. I have been teaching album making for more than 13 years (I became a CM consultant in 1995) I have made more than 38 family albums and I have made 19 gift albums and more than 8 for my customers (this is something I have just started to do).

I specialize in PowerSort (photo organization) and Power Layout method for completing albums.

In teaching this step-by-step method I help my customer's complete classic albums that are generational legacies for their families. I love what I do! I teach at the Valle Vista Community Center in Hemet and have additional classes and workshops at my studio in Avery Canyon, where I live. However, I love sharing fast formulas for easy pages. My designs look complicated, but are quick and easy!

Desert Scrappers for Charity! Silent Auction Info

Scrapbook Royalty is proud to be hosting a silent auction a the Desert Scrappers Retreat. Laura Miller has generously offered to donate 100% of the money we raise to http://www.cancercopingcenter.com/. A group of professionals who volunteer their time and expertise in order to relieve the suffering of those afflicted with cancer by providing coping strategies for cancer patients, their family members and caregivers. Their mission is to enhance and improve their quality of life through creativity. We all know how much we improve the quality of our lives and the lives of our family and friends by scrapbooking! Art therapy is a powerful and genuine tool for coping with life.

Details have not been finalized yet but we plan to offer 50 auctions ranging in value from 11am till 2pm. At the end of the auctions, we will total up your winnings and you will write one check directly to Cancer Coping Center. The Cancer Coping Center is a registered California non-profit so your donation is tax deductible. Please bring your checkbooks and shop for charity!

Details about the Theresa Collins/Acrylic/Bind-it-All class

Whew! I finally got the sample done and photographed for you guys! I LOVE this project because it is so versatile and you will learn a lot of skills and techniques in one class sitting! Just to recap, I will be teaching an acrylic mini-book class featuring Theresa Collin's new line of paper, "Journal-It," fabric paper, StazOn ink, Tim Holtz rubber stamps and more! Then we'll bind it all together with the Bind-it-All, using matching o-wire! This is a great class for anyone who wants to learn new techniques with the Bind-it-All and acrylic, especially rubber stamping on acrylic! And the project features calendar grids on each page spread. So, you can use this as a year-in-review album, a birthday reminder book, or journal, such as an event or weight loss journal. I only have 24 seats available for this $20 class, so be sure to sign up early! Hi, My name is Rachel and I'm a massage therapist. I will be doing chair and table massage at the retreat. I have been doing massage for about five years now. I use different techniques of massage depending each clients individual needs. Chair massage ,I charge $ 1.00 per minute, with a ten minute minimum and will do up to thirty minutes, and table massage is $ 70.00 for an hour session.
