So excited to crop in Tennessee!

Hello, ladies!

My name is Jessica Guthrie and I will be joining you at the crop in October! I am the owner of an online scrapbook shopping site called Kits2Remember, which focuses on "raw" materials, such as acrylic and metal panels, chipboard and more! I have taught classes at a handful of the Desert Scrapers Weekend retreats in Southern California, so I am glad that Laura decided to bring her crops farther East now that I am here!

I just recently moved to Pensacola, FL, from Southern California, (Yes, my DH is military!) so I am excited to meet some Southern scrappers and share ideas! I recently got back from teaching at Creative Escape in Arizona with the likes of Heidi Swapp and Tim Holtz, and am looking forward to teaching and CROPPING in a new state! Emphasis on cropping, because no matter what, I am a scrapbooker first!

But I am going to mix a little "work" in with my play, though. Good thing I love my job! I will be bringing some scrap goodies (acrylic, chipboard and metal, anyone?) for you to browse and shop. Plus, I will be teaching an optional class at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4: An acrylic 6 x 6 wire-bound album called "Thanks."

Inspired by the inspirational movie "The Ultimate Gift," this album's theme is a perfect project for the Thanksgiving and holiday season. The album has a page that focuses on 12 different "gifts" to be thankful for, such as love, family, learning, laughter and more.

Skills and techniques learned in class include working with acrylic and chipboard panels, the Bind-it-All and o-wire, layering transparent elements, use of acrylic paint and foam stamps, Staz-On ink and rubber stamps, Stickles glitter glue and the creation of interactive elements, journaling prompts and more.

The cost of the class is $21 and you only need to bring basic tools such as paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive and glue dots. I'll bring the rest! Space is limited, so be sure to email me (jessica@kits2remember.com) to reserve your seat ahead of time, or if you have any questions about the class.

If you would like to learn more about me and the products I carry, please visit my blog and store web site. I look forward to meeting you all in just a couple of weeks!
