Blogoversary Giveaway #9 - Guest Blogger: Nan from Zutter

Smile...Be Happy 6X6 Mini Book - Being Taught at May Desert Scrappers Retreat

Anniversaries are usually something to smile about. They signify accomplishments, remembrances of joyous events, memories of days we want to remember. So SMILE about this "blogoversary" ....because we get to celebrate Desert Scrappers! We LOVE Desert Scrappers. We love to scrap. We love to get together and scrap!

For this giveaway, you have to work a little bit. In the comments, post a link to a project you have recently completed that makes you SMILE. It can be a layout, a card, a mini book, a home decor project....anything paper crafty. We will pick 5 recipients to get a little something-something from the Zutter stash. Make a note if you are attending the retreat in May and ONE winner will get to take my SMILE class for FREE!!!!!!

Get posting...we will select winners for this post 5pm 3/9/09!

Ok I am hoping I am going to be able to figure out how to do this. I made this for my daughter for her 18th birthday yesterday. It makes me smile because I made it through her 18 yrs. At times it was tough but I made it and so did she. It is a simple thing, but it was still fun making it and she enjoys showing her friends and of course they like the lollipops.

Here is where you can find my project, but no laughing at the blog it is a work in progress as you will see.

I have nothing that I've done but I have been wickedly busy cleaning out my son's room which is going to store my craft stuff. I've finished the first phase and now it's time to figure out how to store everything else in there!

Hmm, I just added a make-n-take to my Fiskateer profile:

http://www.fiskateers.com/community/photo/38019/

I logged out and noticed that I can't get to it now that I'm not logged in.

The card is 6X6, uses the new 'pigtail' from piggy tales I think it is. The card has a heart popping off of it.

I hope you can see it!

I'll see if there is another way to get that picture to you.

It makes me smile because I remember the Expo (my first ever!), and Valentine's Day, my birthday (which is the day after V Day) and I love hearts!

I like making cards too because they are done fast and I can see the results quickly.

Thank you for the opportunity!

I've finished a few things the last couple of days . . . a wooden lantern, a pair of fairy wings, and lots of decorating. Thanks for the chance. Here's the link . . http://www.fiskateers.com/blog/2009/03/09/getting-ready-for-the-weekend-projects/
